2. OBLIGATIONS OF FOOD BUSINESSES OPERATORS

The Regulation must be implemented by food businesses. They must ensure that all the requirements are properly implemented in order to ensure food safety.

Food businesses that handle food of animal origin must, in addition to Regulation (EC) No 852/2004, also implement the appropriate requirements of Regulation (EC) No 853/2004.
